Almost had a heart attack
I’ve been waiting, impatiently, for the list of Hustler meet and greet names to go up. They went up tonight. Only like five names. I flipped. Then I saw the read more button, my name, second to last. THANK GOD!
So fucking happy right now. Literally, I got up and did a dance.

I met Carter back in 2009 while working with him for Hide & Seek Clothing. I’ve honestly never met someone so kind, and charming. When I went to photograph Ace Enders and his family last year Carter was opening the tour. I hadn’t seen or talked to him in months, and I came down the stairs to a bellowing, “Megan Thompson! As I live and breathe! Ace told me you were coming, but I didn’t believe him, gimme a hug girl!” He’s one of those people who you can’t stop smiling around, and who never lets a bad day get him down. Some heartless people robbed him, and we need to help him get back on his feet in the same spirit that he’d help almost anyone. Please reblog the heck out of this for us!

My good friend, good musician, and all around GREAT guy Carter Hulsey’s van was robbed last night. They stole everything. Guitars, pianos, cash, even 400 shirts, and all of his CDs. Carter is seriously one of the most amazing and generous musicians I have EVER had the pleasure of working with so please, please, please support him and help him get back on his feet by heading over to iTunes and picking up one of his many albums. You won’t regret it, and you’ll be helping out someone who would be more appreciative than anyone I can think of.
